Lastly... I made what I would generally consider a mistake by opening Facebook.com this morning-- and instead, got a reminder that on this day exactly 10 years ago I got the Newgrounds tank tattooed on my arm. This was my first tattoo when I was 18. Time fuckin flies man.

When you're getting your first few tattoos, you're thinking a lot about what's meaningful to you, what you aren't going to be sick of in a year, what changed your life, etc.... I think I said this verbatim in a postmortem, but Newgrounds is how I got into animation and how I met many of my closest friends, many of which I'm still makin toons with to this day.

I remember part of why I decided to get this as my first piece was because 2016 was roughly 10 years since my friend put me on to the site as a kid, which permanently altered the trajectory of my life. Which is wild to think about given we were just watching stuff like Legendary Frog and Naruto Fanflash.

So now it's 20 years, give or take! What the hell man. I think the tattoo means more to me now than it did then, which is kinda rare now that I have a bunch of tattoos. All the meetups I went to during the early/mid 2010s still stand as some of my most treasured memories, this site's been one of the few constants throughout my entire life.

There's a lot more I'd like to write, but I did not sleep much last night and have a lot left to do before the premiere, so it'll have to be some other time. In short, I'm grateful that all these years later NG is still a big part of my life. THANKS! Cya at the show <3
